Terms of use

EVAluate (evaluate.team) is a free service offered to the EVA community by the association that publishes the site. Using the site means accepting these terms. The publisher's details are on the Legal notice page.

Access to the service

The service is in closed beta: accounts are not created freely, they are opened one at a time after review of an application submitted on the "Join the beta" page. Access is granted case by case, within the limits of available capacity, and the publisher is not required to give reasons for a decision. In practice, an application is set aside when nothing shows that the person really represents the team they are requesting access for.

Your account

Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your email address: there is no password, and access to your mailbox means access to your account. An account is personal. You undertake to give accurate information, in particular the team and role you declare, and not to use someone else's account.

The Chrome extension

Syncing your games goes through the "EVAluate - synchronisation" extension, which you install and trigger yourself: nothing is sent unless you click. It reads the data the game and EVA Competitive already show you, on your behalf and at your request.

Data and content

The standings, matches and rosters shown come from data made public by EVA Competitive: the publisher reshapes them and guarantees neither their accuracy nor their completeness. What you send (games, reports) stays visible to you and to the active members of your team, under the conditions described on the Privacy page. You remain responsible for what you send.

What is not allowed

• Impersonating another person or another team.
• Sending data from a game account that is not yours.
• Trying to access the data of a team you are not part of, or to bypass the limits of the service.
• Automating or overloading the service beyond normal use.

Suspension and closure

If the rules above are broken, the publisher may suspend or close an account, where possible after a warning. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@evaluate.team: the procedure and what happens to the data are described on the Privacy page.

Service provided as is

EVAluate is free and under active development: outages, data loss or changes in features may happen, with no guarantee of availability. The publisher cannot be held liable for competitive decisions made from the statistics shown, nor for indirect damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change along with the service. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page; continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If a problem arises, write to contact@evaluate.team first: we look for an amicable solution before anything else.
